Right now my life exists as a lot of fixing things or at least making them appear as though they never had problems to begin with. And I don’t mean just Hans’ house. I wish I could fast forward to a few years from now and watch a highlight tape of a few choice moments when things seemed pretty darn good.
On Saturday Hans and I watched the 1997 Super Bowl with Tommy and Heidi. You know that one… it’s the one when the Packers won and Brett Favre looked like a little baby compared to how he looks now. The commercials were pretty entertaining too. It’s amazing how much has changed in almost ten years. We even broke out the champagne when they won… again. :)
Hans and I are beautifying his home. Little by little we take a room and give it personality. It’s really fun once you get past all the hard work and stand back and look at what you’ve created. :) Here are a couple pictures of the most recent changes to what we’re now calling the staircase room.
